The owners of Avalon Springs have embarked on an ambitious new project in terms of which the mountainside behind the hotel and timeshare building has been
divided into 14 plots measuring 190 sqm, each housing two "side by side" chalets. In other words, we are building a total of 28 chalets.
In basic terms the unit will consist of an undercover porch with built in braai area, a lounge with one double sleeper couch, a fully fitted open plan
kitchen and dinette and two double bedrooms each with a full bathroom en suite - sleeping a total of 6 persons.
Items such as a Big Screen TV& DVD surround sound system in the lounge, (separate TVs in bedrooms) under floor heating throughout,
air conditioning and, best of all, a private outdoor spa bath PER UNIT fed from a natural underground spring at variable temperatures
will be "standard issue".
With some of the Jacuzzi's already in operation, please note that the remaining Jacuzzi's will only be operational at the end of February 2010. Please refer to the above when enquiring for accommodation.
Needless to say, the development will have the full service backing of The Avalon Springs Hotel and residents of the chalets will have access to
ALL resort facilities (The view from the chalets is indescribable and well worth the "trek up the mountain" at the moment.)
Access to the chalets will be via a second lift, through the existing timeshare foyer past reception to the second floor, from where you,
your guests & your luggage will be transported to your chalet in comfort by means of The Bosbok all terrain utility vehicle.
However we are busy investigating the possibility of installing a Funicular system.
